( Assertive to Interrogative Sentence )
1 . Auxiliary verb যুক্ত Assertive Sentence টি যদি Affirmative হয় , তবে তাকে Interrogative Sentence এ পরিবর্তনে সময় প্রথমে Auxiliary Verb এর সাথে not/n’t বসে। তার পর subject বসে এবং বাকি অংশ বসে। সর্বশেষে প্রশ্নবোধক চিহ্ন বসে। কিন্তু Negative হলে শুধু Auxiliary Verb বসবে এবং Negative শব্দটি উঠে যাবে।
যেমনঃ
Affirmative: He is a great scholar.
Interrogative: Isn’t he a great scholar?
Affirmative: I was sincere to my duties?
Interrogative: Wasn’t I sincere to my duties? Or Was I not sincere to my duties?
Negative: He is not a good player.
Interrogative: Is he a good player?
Negative: He doesn’t read attentively.
Interrogative : Does he read attentively?
Negative: We do not tell a lie?
Interrogative: Do we tell a lie?
2. Auxiliary Verb বিহীন Assertive Sentence কে Interrogative করার সময় প্রথমে Tense অনুসারে Don’t/ Doesn’t/ Didn’t বসে এবং Subject বসে। তার পর মূল Verb এর best form ও বাকি অংশ বসে। যেমনঃ
Assertive: They play football.
Interrogative: Don’t they play football?
Assertive: He liked the late spring.
Interrogative: Didn’t he like the late spring?

3. Negative অর্থ বহন করে এমন Assertive Sentence কে Interrogative Sentence করতে Negative শব্দটির পরিবর্তে তার বিপরীত Affirmative শব্দটি বসে। যেমনঃ
Assertive: I was never late.
Interrogative: Was I ever late?
Assertive: A fish can not fly.
Interrogative: Can a fish fly?
4. All /Everybody/Everyone যদি Subject হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয় তবে এগুলোকে Who তে পরিনত করে Interrogative করতে হয়। যেমনঃ
Assertive: All love an honest man.
Interrogative: Who doesn’t love an honest man?
Assertive: Everybody likes flower.
Interrogative: Who doesn’t like flower?
Assertive: Everybody wishes to be happy.
Interrogative: Who does not wish to be happy?
আবার কিছু None/Nobody র ক্ষেত্রেও Who বসে।
তবে Sentence এর বাকী অংশে কোন পরিবর্তন হয় না। যেমনঃ
Assertive: None can do it.
Interrogative: Who can do it?
Assertive: Nobody trusts a liar.
Interrogative: Who trusts a liar?
